enRoute, a team dedicated to mobility data

enRoute allows public transport operators and public transport agencies to take control of their data. In particular, we are developing two applications for data management: Chouette SaaS for static data and Ara SaaS for real-time data.

You contribute to the development of Chouette SaaS and/or Ara SaaS applications :

• Be involved in the next major developments of our SaaS applications;

• Ensure the performance of all the front-end parts of our applications;

• Participate in the scaling up of our platforms;

• Ensure internationalization (i18n, timezone, multi-zone deployments);

• Participate in the development of cucumber/selenium tests;

• Collaborate with the QA & Support team and the Product team;

• Communicate about our technical work (blog, conferences, etc.).

Projects are managed with:

• a recent infrastructure (Kubernetes on Google Cloud);

• a complete build/deploy chain;

• large test suites from rspec/jest/go testing to cucumber + selenium on real instances;

• an efficient monitoring ecosystem (Datadog, Sentry, Opsgenie).

👉 Good knowledge of the Ruby on Rails or Go framework and the associated ecosystem;

👉 Understand the business challenges of our clients;

👉 Pass on knowledge and experience to benefit the development team;

👉 Good level of written English.

You participate in managing the deployment of Chouette SaaS and/or Ara SaaS applications for customers, Public Transport Operators or Public Transport Authorities :

• Support customers during the set-up phase by providing recommendations on the configuration of Chouette SaaS and Ara SaaS solutions;

• Participate in user onboarding by presenting the applications and organizing training workshops;

• Assist customers and users with their Passenger Information issues and on the subject of mobility data management and data consuming systems;

• Ensure the first level of support and qualify customer feedbacks according to different criteria, such as the type of request (anomaly, request for development, question about a feature, etc.) and criticality;

• Prepare and lead project review meetings during set-up and run.

In collaboration with the product team, you also contribute to the development of the Chouette SaaS and Ara SaaS applications. In particular, you are required to :

• Provide user feedback to the support, product and technical teams and participate in the continuous improvement of enRoute solutions;

• Participate in the development of application documentation;

• Describe anomalies and describe suggestions for development in tickets that anticipate acceptance work.

Your assignments can change depending on your projects, in particular towards roles integrating a commercial component or to support the development of the company internationally. 🌍

👉 You have acquired experience within a public transport operator, for example through a work-study program in one of the following departments :Studies & Methods / Planning / Data / Passenger Information.... In particular, you have used and administered software tools such as scheduling or CAD/AVL systems or you have developed interfaces between passenger information systems;

👉 You have initial experience in technical project management and initial experience of interactions with clients or internal partners;

👉 You have 1 to 4 years of professional experience and strong development potential;

👉 You have a university degree (Master level) or engineering degree related to the management of mobility systems;

👉 Your curiosity and appetite for innovation in the field of mobility and B2B SaaS solutions will be real assets in joining us!

👉 A good level of written English is necessary to contribute to documentation and participate in writing tickets. A good level of spoken English is a plus.
